Buys for our kitchen

Went down with Jeff our contractor for the purchase of our kitchen and washroom items. Here are some of the kitchen appliances we bought for our lovenest.

The cool hood have an extension in front so that the whole hood will not be too bulky in the outlook and not compromise on the extraction reach.

Jeff said that this hod will complement the black granite kitchen top. Hope it turn out great. Anyway, the pretty glass type hood have the danger of cracking if hot surface are left on it for too long or when things drop on it.

The beautiful built-in oven which has 8 cooking functions. Hope it doesn't turn out to be a white elephant. I promise to try baking cupcakes....:)

Grad day

Time to take a break from all the renovation news. Took some pictures during our commencement.

To NUS and NTU, commencement happens when they start their university life, for us, SMU, is the graduation.

Sad to say that since we chose to commence a year later, we didn't manage to graduate with most of our close friends. We are so glad we at least have Richard, Weili, Jacq and Robin (not in the picture) commencing this year.

This is us taking pictures without specs (this is obvious rite? Do i need to explain? hahaha). My mum kept asking us to take a picture without specs. I just feel weird taking photos without specs though.

On the right, we have J's eldest aunt, and our very right is my mother-in-law.

There is my beloved family, my lovely mum and brother. My mum was so excited that day and kept asking me to take photo with her. However, I was quite pissed off that day with her because she chose the wrong timing to take photo e.g. when time is up and everyone have to seat down. Well, there is my enthu mum and wouldn't love to have her rite :)

Lastly, my beloved FYP mate cum KTV pal cum etc. Hahahaha. I'm so happy she is able to make it for our ROM as well as our commencement. Thanks gal!

After 4 years of hardwork at SMU, I felt a sense of relief however I still enjoyed student life rather than work life. The only good thing about working life is that you have money put on your table. I guess most of us will agree on this :)
