Any updates?

Yes, we admitted to being lazy for these past few months after the wedding that we are lazy to blog.

Hubby promised to put some of our photos taken during these few months soon. Kindly wait :P

Things are more settled now especially after the wedding. However, as and when I will still recall our wedding. I love our wedding and yes, I truly love it. All thanks to my hubby, and to all the jie-mei and xiong-di that made it happened. :)

Our next agenda will be our honeymoon to Europe in mid-Sept, 4 more weeks left. We are going to UK, France, Spain and Italy for 19 days including flight time.

My feeling? Anticipation and a bit of apprehension e.g. such as theft, tiredness. However, most of it will be excitement since the furthest country I went it China, and Europe will be a totally different experience for us.

It will not be a tour package honeymoon. We planned our honeymoon ourselves from places to visit, transportation, hotels, etc. Though majority of this planning is done by hubby. *hug hug*.

Will keep my fans posted :)

Cheers!

Genting trip with J's family

Initially, both of us were thinking of going for a trip before I start my work in dec. However, I asked whether does he want to try to bring his parents along since it is in Malaysia and its been decades ever since J went with his parents to Genting. He told me he went with his parents when he was a very young kid, and suffered asthma there..not a very nice experience. Thus, we decided to ask his parents along, and also his 2nd brother, Ah yuan and wife, Michelle along too.

It was a 3 nights and 4 days at Genting. There's a lot of activities like bowling, playing pool, at outdoor theme park, and indoor games, shopping, eating, casino-ing, etc.
This is our first stop after our 1st dinner at Genting, BOWLING. It was really fun when most of us are beginners. We have pp who accidentally threw the bowl backwards, dad seemed to be almost flying into the alley, etc. Too bad that Mum not joining because she didn't wear socks. One thing to note was that, the rented shoes are terrible.

Behind us is the hotel which we stayed in, the First World Hotel. What's a colorful exterior. The room is only so-so, with noisy people at the corridor. First night was a sleepless night with Bear tossing around the whole night, 2nd nite a little bit better after I gave him a 2nd pillow for his neck, last night pretty bad with kids screaming for mummy across the corridors..omg. But overall still clean and neat.

The next day, we went to the outdoor theme park. Fortunately the heaven pity us and stopped raining in the afternoon, thus giving us a chance to play :P We played some coasters, viking, waterboats, games, etc

What's with that hand huh, justin??

This is one of the fun shots. We needed to pass the camera to Michelle when we crossed our path and making sure that the camera did not fall into the dirty waters.

I loved to play those throwing games to get some toys. I still remember I won one of the big prize in HK disneyland, but lady luck was not with me this time round, I won a small little white bear instead :)

The third day, we decided to try out the K-Lunch. Pretty cheap. For six people, we spent around 100ringits with food (braised chicken rice, fish, hua-tiao chicken, mutton rice, etc), drinks and tibits provided. However, it was a short 2 hrs KTV session, leaving us wanting more. This is our first time hearing Mum sing too..though a bit out of tune, but can see that she was enjoyed the KTV-ing.

After the KTV session, we also went to the indoor amusement parks. Pretty suprised that Mum was playing the bikies and basketballs. Hahahaha

The last day, which was the check-out day, Bear and I decided to take a picture inside the hotel room. Both of us were glad that we did our last round of shopping in the morning, and bought some lovely bears and cosages from "Lovely Lace" using our visa card, afraid we don't have too much cash on hand.

While waiting for the bus back to Singapore, we ordered starbuck coffee. Heard from J that this was the first time they drank coffee, and they seemed to love it because they have drank 3 times including the last day :)

Overall, it was a fun trip but some unpleasentness do happened with the constant breathing of the cigarette smokes, some nagging from Mum (which all mum does), tiredness from the lack of sleep but overall still not bad. More pictures can be found at "Picasa"

Bintan trip (Day 2) - Romantic night

Unexpectedly, I received a suprise that night. Though I found the behavior of the staff whom Justin was speaking to in the morning is weird but I never suspect he was planning a suprise.

The staff ding-dong our door bell, and escort both of us to the location. It was so beautiful. The beach was decorated with lights at the walkway. I even joked that it looked like survivor show :P. Quite a number of passerby looked at me with envious eyes.

The table was decorated with a with table cloth. The seats are decorated in white with blue sashes. This whole setup was at the bench where I can feel the gentle breeze and soft sand at our feets. There's also some small uninvited guests whch were the flying bugs...eeee.. Bear Bear had to help me to chase them away :P

This was how the table setup looked like. Mainly blue, green and whites.

So what's on the menu?

Appetizer: Gado Gado

Prawn salad:
The gutinese rice of the prawn salad is yummy and has a strong aluring fragrance.

Grilled salmon with wild mushroom:

Grilled Chicken

This is the best salmon I ever eaten. The salmon is juicy, and the very mouth watering mushroom...mmm...simply delicious. I gave compliments to the staff on this.

When I was thinking why the suprise, he suddenly knee down with a boquet of flowers handed secretly by one of the staff, and proposed!!! Hahahaha. He gave me a pearl sliver necklace and said to me. The reason I decided to give u this among all presents because you are the only pearl in the entire ocean which I will only treasure. I was so touched when he said that and asked me to be his wife again. What do i do? I kept laughing again non-stop. Looking at Bear Bear bashing while saying those words is so so cute.!

The whole event ended with a very sweet desert. It was indeed a memorable romantic experience. Thanks Lao gong for the arrangement :)

Bintan trip (Day 2) - Mangroove tour

Here comes the Day 2.

It was a exciting morning as we ventured into the Bintan's mangrove. We woke up around 7.30a.m and after a quick wash up, we went for the Kopi-O breakfast buffet which we finished around 9a.m so that we could get ready for the mangrove tour at 9.20a.m.

We went to the mangrove location by bus, which took around 15 mins.

Inside the mangrove, there are mainly 4 types of mangrove plants:

Steel root

Ribbon root

Pencil root

Knee root

We even spotted some snakes hanging above us..my goodness.
It was a nice and windy tour. You could feel the cool breeze gently touches ur face. At first, I was pretty skeptical about this tour. My initial impression was it will be super duper hot and smelly. I'm glad Bear Bear persuaded me to join the tour. U are the best!

Bintan trip (Day 1)

Is been a while we had such a nice relax holiday. There is a nice little suprise planned by Bear Bear which I will share that in a while.

First Day:

We reach Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at around 10.10a.m. There's quite a crowd with students, families and kids, eagerly waiting to board the ferries. Mr. Bear (our cuddly lovely bear) joined the trip as well.

We are welcome with songs and dance when we reached

Our first lunch at Kopi-O cafe. I ordered a Bintan Special meal which comprises of chicken curry, Beef redang, Perserved veg, chicken, fish, meat, fried prawn. Really filling. It cost us $16.

Justin ordered a satay set which cost around $14. Both are yummy!

After the lunch, it was raining thus we went to the leisure center and played pool. Since I'm a new to this sport. I was kinda instructed by Justin what to do. Kinda irritating sometimes :P hahahaha

We went back to the resort early with a nice bubbly bath. The bath-tub is so huge. Both of us can lie inside. So relaxing. We had cup-noddle for dinner, saving money for other expenses.

I will be updating Day 2 soon. Going to cook my lunch. so hungry..:P
