New addition to our home

Some newbie added to our humble home. Filled up many of our blank walls.

Some photos of our recent exploit to greet us at the entrance. The colour definately brighten up our home as well as remind us of some of the great time we have recently.

Some lovely posters for our entertainment room. The Rocky poster is so romantic in a quiet way while we spice it up with the Dirty Dancing poster.

New curtain for our MBR to block out the morning sun which had been tormenting us for the first 2 months. It also added a touch of romance to our room, just that the photo didn't show the true beauty of its colour.
A lounge chair for our MBR which I intend to use for some reading time. Hope i can find more time and energy for that.

Our very own Christmas Tree

Dear been wanting her own Christmas Tree all these while and so we decided to get one for our own home.

Didn't want to get an overwhelming tree for fear of cluttering our cozy home. Hence the smaller cute tree which will be more managable as well.

Some cute but traditional decoration to light up the bare tree. Found these nice figurine at Daiso at just $2 each.

Put our little toys into good use in decorating the bottom of the tree. Should have some new additions to the trees. Maybe powerpuff girls..haha

Air con installed

Yes, we have our air con in sunny Singapore. It has been raining continuously for the past 2 weeks but I guess it is a neccesacity in our little red dot especially since I had been living with one for the last 15 years.

The air-con is yes, the Jack Neo endorsed Starmax Easiclean. However the main reason for the choice is the fact that it has the 4 ticks for energy savings. Hopefully the invertor system is as what is claimed. Money Savings

The contractor had worked out a wonderful plan for the running of the trunking and we will have minimal exposure of them.

However the trunking must still go somewhere and guess what, they will mostly be in the washroom area. Something have to go.

All is good except for this. Got the wrong impression from the air con installer and this is the headache now. The trunking run by the shortest route but I have to live with this exposed trunking below the door frame of the MBR washroom. Have to work out something to minimise the ugliness.

Walls and Tiles up and ready

Our walls and floor tiles are finally settled. Although we found a few partially empty floor tiles in our MBR, the work is relatively satisfactory. But we will only see the final result a few weeks later after the polishing. Some photos below.

The kitchen open access can be seen after removal of the iron bars. This will definately make the area more spacious. We will be be seeing the island soon.

This will be the space for our fridge. The whole kitchen will be in white too to make the apce seamless. Hope it wont dirty so soon..

The space for our kitchen cabinet and working top. Decided to use a greyish laminate for our cabinet...stay tune for the finished product soon.

The door from the entertainment room to the study room. The wall is well patched up. The parquet tile flooring for all the rooms.

Our bathtub in the MBR washroom. It is a bit small but we will cherish it for the relaxing nights amist our busy schedule later.

Next up will be our air con installation. Hope it will all be done by Tuesday for our paint work to start next week. Chosen our colours today, may it all turn out perfect.
