Bintan trip (Day 2) - Romantic night

Unexpectedly, I received a suprise that night. Though I found the behavior of the staff whom Justin was speaking to in the morning is weird but I never suspect he was planning a suprise.

The staff ding-dong our door bell, and escort both of us to the location. It was so beautiful. The beach was decorated with lights at the walkway. I even joked that it looked like survivor show :P. Quite a number of passerby looked at me with envious eyes.

The table was decorated with a with table cloth. The seats are decorated in white with blue sashes. This whole setup was at the bench where I can feel the gentle breeze and soft sand at our feets. There's also some small uninvited guests whch were the flying bugs...eeee.. Bear Bear had to help me to chase them away :P

This was how the table setup looked like. Mainly blue, green and whites.

So what's on the menu?

Appetizer: Gado Gado

Prawn salad:
The gutinese rice of the prawn salad is yummy and has a strong aluring fragrance.

Grilled salmon with wild mushroom:

Grilled Chicken

This is the best salmon I ever eaten. The salmon is juicy, and the very mouth watering mushroom...mmm...simply delicious. I gave compliments to the staff on this.

When I was thinking why the suprise, he suddenly knee down with a boquet of flowers handed secretly by one of the staff, and proposed!!! Hahahaha. He gave me a pearl sliver necklace and said to me. The reason I decided to give u this among all presents because you are the only pearl in the entire ocean which I will only treasure. I was so touched when he said that and asked me to be his wife again. What do i do? I kept laughing again non-stop. Looking at Bear Bear bashing while saying those words is so so cute.!

The whole event ended with a very sweet desert. It was indeed a memorable romantic experience. Thanks Lao gong for the arrangement :)

Bintan trip (Day 2) - Mangroove tour

Here comes the Day 2.

It was a exciting morning as we ventured into the Bintan's mangrove. We woke up around 7.30a.m and after a quick wash up, we went for the Kopi-O breakfast buffet which we finished around 9a.m so that we could get ready for the mangrove tour at 9.20a.m.

We went to the mangrove location by bus, which took around 15 mins.

Inside the mangrove, there are mainly 4 types of mangrove plants:

Steel root

Ribbon root

Pencil root

Knee root

We even spotted some snakes hanging above us..my goodness.
It was a nice and windy tour. You could feel the cool breeze gently touches ur face. At first, I was pretty skeptical about this tour. My initial impression was it will be super duper hot and smelly. I'm glad Bear Bear persuaded me to join the tour. U are the best!
